2023 Best Sports Governing Body Initiative

  • This award is to recognise a governing body initiative which has been effective in achieving its outcomes with defined and measurable success. Examples might include fan engagement, promotion of the sport the body represents or encouragement of participation. Judges will be looking for an initiative which has notable and sustainable positive impacts on the sport.

  • Core Entry - MAX 1000 WORDS

    • Context - Give some background as to how your governing body operates? Tell us a little about your size, structure and function.
    • Challenge - What did you set out to achieve? What were the targets? What challenges were faced?
    • Solution – What did you do to meet those challenges? What was distinctive or innovative about the solution?
    • Results – What were the outcomes? How were these outcomes measured? What positive feedback and testimonials do you have?

  • Summary - MAX 200 WORDS

  • In the event of your submission being shortlisted we will publish a 200 word summary of your submission on our website. Please write the summary below keeping in mind that any results or other sensitive information may end up in the public domain.

  • Supporting Material

  • Please attach any relevant support material - testimonials, research, performance analysis, collateral, screen grabs, pictures etc.

    Entrants may attach up to 3 files of supporting material of no more than 4 pages each. Attached files must be no more the 10MB each, documents must be in .pdf or .doc (word) format.
